A few tips:
- Be friendly and helpful.
- Know all the motions, points and procedures beforehand.
- Don't be afraid to admit that you are wrong or to correct a delegate.
- Get the delegates to respect you and maintain decorum without being harsh.
- Communicate by note with delegates that aren't participating
- Always thank the admin staff for their work.
- Never argue with the co-chairs during the debate.
- Split up tasks (amendements, keeping track of time etc.) and discuss the agenda with your co-chairs before entering the committee.
